“A thousand may fall at your side,
ten thousand at your right hand,
but it will not come near you.
You will only look with your eyes
and see the recompense of the wicked.” Psalm 91:5,6

Beloved,

Like the wisdom given to Nehemiah — build with one hand and keep a sword in the other. For the enemy will try to attack, but the Lord fights your battles. Keep the Word of God firmly entrenched in your heart, so that when difficulty comes — the Sword is in your hand.

Open up the Word today — spend time with the Father, allowing Him to pour His Presence deeply into your being. There is intimacy required in this relationship, where you must become familiar with the Father and His Son Jesus and His Holy Spirit — that your steps might be with true authority.

You can only be filled with His Word if time is spent with Him — surface knowledge of the Heavenly Father will not suffice, but it must grow in you, an overwhelming hunger to constantly be after more of Heaven.

Within His Presence is a Strong Tower — that is meant to be mobile — traveling with you wherever you go. And it is for those around you as well, a place of respite and rest — that will refresh all in hard times.

It is the Lord’s response to evil that allows you to see His recompense of the wicked. It is important that you observe these things, that darkness will receive its reward, and evil its justice. That the Father is your Shelter and Deliverer.

Lift up Honor to the Lord, the King today.

Trust Him with your deepest thoughts — allowing Him to entrench Himself deep within you.

Pray constantly — Listen to Him always — take steps that have been ordained by Jesus. For the plans He has for you are good and righteous.

“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah 29:11

“Jesus paid it all
All to Him I owe
Sin has left a crimsom stain
But He has washed it white as snow”

“Praise the One who paid your debt
and raised this life up from the dead” Chris Tomlin
