“He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.” Psalm 91:15

Beloved,

The Believer says, “I trust in you and I’m safe!”

That’s right-He rescues you from hidden traps, shields you from deadly hazards. His huge outstretched arms protect you-under them you’re perfectly safe; his arms fend off all harm…

The person who trusts in God is the one who lives close to Him. He is the one who takes shelter in the Most High. The Most High is a mountain-like majesty, in whose presence is a “secret place”. And as a mother hen gathers her young under her wings we can come under His feathers for refuge and complete protection from all harm. Believers in the Lord are protected!

Does your life alternate between desperate need and resolute trust in the Lord? You are not alone in this bounce of life. But trusting in God is never foolish. The Lord is the only source of continual protection. Let us have a confident expectation that God will intervene and deliver.

He has made a host of heavenly messengers ready to do His bidding, and His bidding is often to guard His people throughout their lives and protect them — sometimes from dangers they are not even aware of.

Corrie Ten Boom once said, “When a train goes through a tunnel and it gets dark, you don’t throw away the ticket and jump off. You sit still and TRUST the Engineer.”

My God…I place all my trust in You!
