A wellspring
Psalm 73:23–26 “Nevertheless I am continually with thee: thou hast holden me by my right hand. Thou shalt guide me with thy counsel, and afterward receive me to glory. Whom have I in heaven but thee? and there is none upon earth that I desire beside thee. My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever.”
Isaiah 30:18–19, 23 “And therefore will the Lord wait, that he may be gracious unto you, and therefore will he be exalted, that he may have mercy upon you: for the Lord is a God of judgment: blessed are all they that wait for him. For the people shall dwell in Zion at Jerusalem: thou shalt weep no more: he will be very gracious unto thee at the voice of thy cry; when he shall hear it, he will answer thee.” “Then shall he give the rain of thy seed, that thou shalt sow the ground withal; and bread of the increase of the earth, and it shall be fat and plenteous: in that day shall thy cattle feed in large pastures.”
Beloved,
We love the Name of Jesus, for through the Cross all promises have been made secure in the Blood that flowed from His body, and each stripe contains the healing for the nations. It is a river that flows from the throne of God, bringing with it life and hope to all that are destitute. We give Glory in our praises to the one that gave all, the Father that loved the world so much, that He gave His son Jesus. We are so in debt to this God in Heaven, that has bought us, has purchased us, has sought us until we are His. There just is no other name, but Jesus.
Strength of my heart, thank you for the love you poured out on Calvary. Though we approach the days where we celebrate your birth, it is the Cross we are forever grateful. Without your death on the Cross, there would be no breath in our lungs. For you tore the veil from top to bottom, creating a portal, that all might approach the Father and be reconciled to Him. It is our hope that in the promises of God from Genesis to Revelation, that our lives will have meaning in this world, for the Kingdom of God comes down and changes everything.
We are His and He is ours. All things of this world will be swept away, in a twinkling of His eye. The flesh will be consumed, and all that will remain will be the heart placed in us from the beginning. Our bodies will be renewed in the morning, at the cry of that trumpet when the Bride Groom comes for His Bride. We must be prepared, that our garment would be white without stain. But it is a task that we cannot do ourselves, and the Blood of the Lamb must be applied so that we do not look like our former selves, but take on the mantle of Christ, His authority in every step that we take.
We are in debt to the Son of God, who has now courted us for years. He has sought us, when we did not want to be found. for He is the leaven that rises to the top and takes us in to the Holy of Holies. We make this trip only with His Goodness at our side, that the Holy Spirit that now lives within our frame, guides us all the way. We will know our left from the right, and will know His voice intimately. He speaks tender love words into the depths of our being, until He has created in us this beautiful wellspring, flowing over its rim and touching a world so desperate to drink of its offering.
