all things . . .
Romans 8:28 “And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”
Beloved,
We celebrate in the face of adversity. We lean in and not away from obstacles, taking the Word of God literally, igniting that dunamis Spirit power in the moving of the mountain. Lord, show us our weakness, and fill that void with your strength and your authority. Yes, show us your Glory God; hide us in the cleft of the rock. Bring your sons and daughters into our purposes, and illustrate the steps necessary to break the hold of the enemy on ourselves and our children. We trust in you Lord. Capture us with your gaze, look upon us with your eyes. Lift our head, that we might look into your eyes, like the beloved that we are, for you are our hope. We are a diamond around your neck God, a jewel that your your hand wraps around and holds close. You have made us for such a time as this. And you are all that we need.
Love sometimes, seems to exceed our reach. Our hands are not enough to grab on to the blessed hope. But the desire within us grows stronger each moment, of each day. At times, you feed us like little children, but as we mature, our hunger motivates us to a place of aggressively taking the Kingdom of God by force. This is what you have taught us, to storm the gates when necessary, for your Son Jesus paid the price on the Cross and bought us access to your throne room. There is no other name, by which we might be saved. Our legacy is the Kingdom, which we leave to our descendants. And like the song that we sing, we lift our voices in worship and thankfulness. You have placed a break through anointing in our hearts, an oil that when lavished on the sick and the lost, healing and salvation come rapidly.
It is a faith and a hope that works itself through our being like yeast in the bread, impacting every aspect of our lives. Great is your hand in our lives Lord. We give honor and power to you the King, our God and to the Son Jesus and Holy Spirit. We are nothing without every element of the Godhead, the Trinity that speaks over us day and night. This relationship between us and you is consummated through the blood still flowing from the Cross. Its power never expires, never gives up, never relents, but presses forward and not back, until you have us in your grip.
“Wonderful, beautiful, Jesus you are.” IHOP
It all “works together for good.”
