Better is One Day . . .
Psalm 47:6,7 “Sing praises to God, sing praises: sing praises unto our King, sing praises. For God is the King of all the earth: sing ye praises with understanding.”
Song of Songs 3:5 “I charge you, O ye daughters of Jerusalem, by the roes, and by the hinds of the field, that ye stir not up, nor awake my love, till he please.”
Beloved,
Sing praises, bring glory to the Lamb that gave everything that you might hold life in your heart and never die. His promise is eternal life, and mortal death is but a portal to His Kingdom. Seek Him while He may be found, love Him with all that your are. Every part of your being, is given to Him as appreciation for what He has done. For He loved you so greatly, that the Father sent His only son Jesus to die in your stead. He is the eternal Lamb, that will sit on the throne and invest His love in you.
His glory is made manifest in your praise, to words of your mouth that come from an overflow of your heart. Praise is given out of the time spent with Him, the desire of Love that surpasses all things, that you would give everything to just be with Him. Desire the things of God, seek His face in the midnight hours and He will be found. There are watchmen that will know of His presence, and will point you in the right direction.
Seek this overwhelming love, that it might change you, transform you into the son or daughter of God that will not hesitate in the market place, to find that town square to speak and sing of God’s goodness. We are called to such things, to preach the good news, to bring salvation into the midst of the dying and the lost. For you are a reflection of Christ, that shares forgiveness easily and takes up the position of advocate for the children of God. You will stand in the courts of Heaven, to intercede for those that are asking, for those that are praying, for those that desire to live in His Presence and to worship His Name.
We are the Bride of Christ, no matter what denomination or title given to your belief in Him. You have a destiny to prepare yourself, to be adorned in pure white, to be perfumed in His Fragrance, and to be readied with a Lamp that will never run out of oil.
Ask for that strength, that you might praise the King without fail. Ask for that peace, that comes from enduring all that this world has thrown at you, and still you praise and worship without ceasing. Like Abraham, praise Him while leaning on your staff even when the end is near. Enter His courts with Praise.
