fight the good fight
Romans 15:12,13 “And again, Esaias saith, There shall be a root of Jesse, and he that shall rise to reign over the Gentiles; in him shall the Gentiles trust. Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.”
Beloved,
Hope comes not from the mouth but from the heart. It is His presence that we love the most, in whatever tangible or intangible way He chooses. There are moments where there is just a fragrance, and you know that it is God walking in the garden with you. He holds your hand, and reminisces of things past. God reminds you of those days in which He walked with you through traumatic events, encouraging you all the way, not letting you go for even a moment. It is the holy desire within you that beckons His approach, and He comes in the midst of your desire fulfilling your need. He is the delight, the well that never runs dry, always available to His sons and daughters.
Holy desire, with hearts set on fire — we can accomplish everything put before us. There is no mountain too high or valley too low, a bridge has been placed between us and our destination. It is the cross, that has ruined the darkness, igniting lives with the brilliance of Christ. Oil is provided to those that are hungry, those that thirst for more. It is int he want, that springs come and pour through ancient streams, with the clearest water, that runs with the current of life. In those times, drink of its beauty, of its nourishment, of the life essence bought at the cross by the son of God. It has been kept for you in every event or need, partnering with your heart, building the Kingdom up allowing for pathways to be opened and removing the chains on those in captivity.
We run with the deer in these moments. We do not fail, for our breath is not our own, but the exhale of the King bringing the rarified air of heaven released into our lungs. This takes His breath to every part of our body, covering each area of emotion, spirit, mental, and physical needs. Joy and peace are the ammunition bringing hope in dire times, when our physical eyes see only destruction, our spiritual eyes will see the heart of God. We are surrounded much like the servant of old who saw the hills filled with heavenly armies of fire, horses and chariots.
