Deuteronomy 10:12 “And now, Israel, what doth the Lord thy God require of thee, but to fear the Lord thy God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve the Lord thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul,”

Psalm 104:1–6 “Bless the Lord, O my soul. O Lord my God, thou art very great; thou art clothed with honour and majesty. Who coverest thyself with light as with a garment: who stretchest out the heavens like a curtain: Who layeth the beams of his chambers in the waters: who maketh the clouds his chariot: who walketh upon the wings of the wind: Who maketh his angels spirits; his ministers a flaming fire: Who laid the foundations of the earth, that it should not be removed for ever. Thou coveredst it with the deep as with a garment: the waters stood above the mountains.”

Beloved,

Come into His presence, letting the day around you melt away. Concerns of the moment are let go and He lifts you above every trial and tribulation. In the light of His presence, clarity is achieved, and understanding gleaned, and wisdom gained. Spending time at His feet is the best place to be. Everything else pales in comparison. For the things that are good and those that are better, can be laid down for the best things of God. Position yourself today. Stand in the River of Life facing the King, and where he sits. These headwaters provide the nourishment to the tree that grows along its shore, granting fruit in and out of season. Pluck leaves from its limbs, and heal the nations around you, even your own. Our heart is not our own, but belong to the Spirit that lives inside. Trust His promises to be fulfilled.

Walk in the way of a man that seeks righteousness. Know that the upright will live in the land, bound on every side with the Lord’s strong tower. His protection and well keeping are yours for the asking. You will be enabled to move from place to place, when called upon by the King. His authority will take you to many places in need of His light. His son’s blood will go before you, interceding before the Father. Favor will be over you and on you. As you stand in this vast river of life, open your hands and scoop up that which is best. Yes, everything in this river is good, and many things are better, but only specific things are best. Your life was planned out before you were born, and your purpose was established at the beginning of time.

God is awesome indeed. He is worthy to praise and to adore. Fear the Lord with a heart that trembles in His presence. The breath that exists within your frame is a gift for today, and should not be wasted on tomorrow’s treasures. To be present before the Lord, to exact the wisdom from His teachings, brings His voice near. Lean against His chest much like John did at the table of rememberance, and notice His breath on your neck. Like a fragrant anointing is the Breath of the Lord, as it graces your neck like a necklace. You will find favor and a good reputation in the sight of God. He lavishes His love on you in and out of season, like the fruit on His tree. If it is understanding, come to the that tree that bears wisdom. Its fruit is sweet and the nectar delicious. Know that His wisdom is better than diamonds or gold.

Let His presence refresh you today. You are personally invited to sit next to Him at the table. Your enemies will remain far away, and will be forced to watch you eat in peace. He calls you son. He calls you daughter. Know that your own understanding will lead to death, but understanding gained at His feet will bring life. It is a fleshly thing to lean on ones own will, but when bent in obedience to His word, becomes a living purpose, a fiery sword. Let glory flow like a river, that comes from His throne. You are blessed because of your diligent search for wisdom. Take your place in this River. Position yourself to receive, so that you might give. Thousands are dying before leaving the womb and their blood is our responsibility. Lift up the unborn to the King. Place them in wicker baskets that float upon the river. And the sky will drip with heaven’s dew, bringing a full life and hope for the future to every child.
