Psalm 6:8–10 “Depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity; for the Lord hath heard the voice of my weeping. The Lord hath heard my supplication; the Lord will receive my prayer. Let all mine enemies be ashamed and sore vexed: let them return and be ashamed suddenly.”

Beloved,

Go now, and be at rest. Find that safe harbor, or that high hill — and see that your enemy is no where to be seen. The enemy’s attack has been curtailed, and you are set free of this event. You walk without looking back, for your enemy has turned back in shame and cannot be found. Passion can be found in your heart, to cry out to the Lord — know that He has accepted your prayer and has answered it.

No longer are you laid low, but now have been lifted up — for you have been found to be humble. The Lord is not a distant entity, but an intimate friend that hears your every cry and need. He is not afar off, but closer than a brother — and ministers to your needs quickly, and builds you back up. He is the ultimate encourager, the wonderful redeemer, and the magnificent healer.

He glories in your successes, for He is your Father and He calls you His sons and daughters. His desire is to walk with you in the cool of the evening, through His garden. He loves to be with you, and inhabits your very being. He sees with your eyes, for they have been transformed to Godly eyes and always seek Righteousness.

There are times, when you realize He is always there, always present, and always breathing on you and in you. It is His Breath that brings understanding, and you are astonished at the wisdom He pours out. Your feet are meant for higher ground; do not wallow in the mud, but stand in the high places. Seek His Face always, and cry out — He will hear you!

You are dead to sin, and alive in Christ.

Repeat that, “I am dead, I am dead, I am dead to sin — but I am alive in Christ!” and soon you will ask, “Where are my enemies?”
