Hope is a Shield
Psalm 76:1–3 “In Judah is God known: his name is great in Israel. In Salem also is his tabernacle, and his dwelling place in Zion. There brake he the arrows of the bow, the shield, and the sword, and the battle.” Selah!
Beloved,
Peace has come to your house today. He has shown you the way, and has spoke His Word over you. It is filled with wisdom and knowledge, maturing your heart and breaking off the remnant of old things. Surely, it is like His breath released in you, and then allowed to cover those around you. Like an arrow released from a bow of an angelic marksmen, it will find its target. It will not miss. Those things in life that you thought were overwhelming and difficult have become as nothing to you, for His Word is spectacular, healing the nations.
You are empowered though His Grace, and Hope has become your shield. The weapons you hold in your hands are not the weapons of this earth or its flesh, but are constant reminders of the Cross and the Resurrection. You hold life in the palm of your hand, and you break through the darkness with just one word, “Jesus.” The weapons of this world’s war, that violence of the evil one has been vanquished. You have no need to regard the evil one, for he is bound and has been put under foot. He must bow to the King that lives within your heart.
You reign as a prince and princess in His court, given authority to rule over such darkness and exchange it for the Light, that is a Kingdom keepsake. Your people desire the Light that you carry. It is in your heart and this Light breaks the chains of those in bondage. Surely even addictions must fall and those mental frailties must succumb to the Word of God. He sent His Son that all might find Him, and He does not relent. He leaves the 99 for the one that is lost. You are mature in the wisdom provided by the Lord. Walk boldly into the enemy’s camp and take back what that villain has stolen. You have mastered the Love that has been given to you, and you wield it as a sword, that severs the head of the snake beneath your feet.
All will be restored. It will be like those flowers of the field, that neither spin nor toil, but are clothed in the finest of garments. You will clothe the naked and put a robe upon those that are cold. From your hands will come provisions, that will feed the multitudes and heal the sick. From that interaction with the Lord who lives within your bones, many will come to the Lord and believe. Be that woman or man of God, that was destined for a times such as this.
