I Want to Gaze Upon His Beauty
Psalm 45:7,8 “Thou lovest righteousness, and hatest wickedness: therefore God, thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows. All thy garments smell of myrrh, and aloes, and cassia, out of the ivory palaces, whereby they have made thee glad.”
Song of Songs 1:1–4, 17 “The song of songs, which is Solomon’s. Let him kiss me with the kisses of his mouth: for thy love is better than wine. Because of the savour of thy good ointments thy name is as ointment poured forth, therefore do the virgins love thee. Draw me, we will run after thee: the king hath brought me into his chambers: we will be glad and rejoice in thee, we will remember thy love more than wine: the upright love thee.”
“The beams of our house are cedar, and our rafters of fir.”
Beloved,
(Lover) Carry me across thy threshold, bring me into your chambers. Let me be transformed in your Presence, letting these earthly rags fall away to reveal my nakedness. Search me and know me, that all will be known by You, and your heart will be my covering, my shame will be no more. Through your blood, let my garments be dipped. I will be no more, but you will be all, and everything.
(Beloved) You are preserved in His Presence, taken away by the King that rides a white horse, and dons the Scepter bringing all authority into the chaotic mess in which we live. But there is a chamber, where the “beams are cedar and the rafter are of fir.” Such strength, and the tree does not whither, though it has been cut to fit. Like Aaron’s rod, that continues to bud, though cut from the field, so the cedar and fir will be strong and fill the house with His fragrance.
It is out of your hands beloved, for you have entrusted yourself to the King and He has gathered you within HIs embrace. Nothing will ever be the same, hope will never leave you and joy will always be your strength. He is the one that was spoken of by the prophets of old, and He is the one that is spoken of today in your heart. Fresh words are always coming from His throne, like a river pure and clean, never to be muddied with worldly currents. This river is divine and goes where the Spirit tells it to go, and it is swayed and eddied by your prayers, those secret words spoken to the Father in the midnight hours.
HIs Love is a flame that will never go out. Instead, it grows in intensity with each step that you take. The world is impacted by this presence, by this royal love, that once was broken on the Cross, but mended in the tomb. With morning comes all things new, a chance, where faith takes over and we lean not on our own understanding, but sit at the feet of Wisdom and Truth.
From there, we are raptured, kept in a constant state of Holiness, where Righteousness is a gift, a blessing and not leveraged for money or gold. It is a free gift, this love that knows no end. His Love released in dunamis power, is never to be taken away.
Holy Spirit, is a raging fire. I want to gaze upon your beauty!
