I wonder how many . . .

Proverbs 21:21 “He that followeth after righteousness and mercy findeth life, righteousness, and honour.”

Joel 3:16 “The Lord also shall roar out of Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem; and the heavens and the earth shall shake: but the Lord will be the hope of his people, and the strength of the children of Israel.”

Beloved,

Children, both born and unborn are precious in His sight. Through Joel we see the Lord will be the strength of Israel’s children. We are grafted into this same vine, and call upon this blessing over our children and our children’s children. As long as the Lord gives us breath, we will praise His holy name in Zion. There is a wind blowing that carries the scent of His holy Spirit. The spirit moves across the lands of this world and sees the slaughter and murder of His creation. Holy Spirit does indeed groan in ways unimaginable (Romans 8:26) to mankind. There is a supernatural depth to this grieving, seen in the travails of God’s Spirit. This same spirit was sent with purpose, to gain the attention of mankind continuing the process of the Living Word going to the ends of the world expressing God’s great love.

Years ago, a close friend shared about the Holy Spirit and the travail experienced. She said, “I hear the Holy Spirit say to the Father, how much longer? How much longer?” Now, we don’t know the day or time, but eventually His return will be seen by all man and creation. He will come when we least expect it. Our current conditions across this land, our nation are no more of a disaster than what is being experienced around the globe. In a still soft whisper, the Lord speaks, “Listen to what my Holy Spirit says, know the season and the time.” Our hearts may have gone cold, or become callous. Are we still compassionate, still open to what the Spirit experiences in his anguish, in the rending of God’s heart?

Directly or indirectly, we are experiencing the losses of unborn children, being aborted and murdered. The blood poured out from their innocent lives should break us, at least stop us from going on to the next thing in our busy schedules. Although our country is in crisis, where entire regions are giving in to the devil’s wiles, speaking about self righteousness and selfish needs. From the moment of conception, there is a song placed in our children’s hearts. These hearts sing of the greatness of our Lord, and speaks to the glory released through worship. There is always a determination being played out in the womb by each and every child. Life is precious even in their young growing minds, as their tiny hearts within their chests begins to beat sending blood to every part of their bodies.

We are not created to be executioners. We are life bringers and have turned our back on truth. Man and woman together can bring the greatest gift of God, birthing wonder and amazement in the small, small package of life. Years ago, we stretched our wings and put a man on the moon and we celebrated the accomplishment. That giant step for mankind has become lost in the corrupt thinking in actions of modern man who takes life in their own hands, subtly trying to be gods themselves, having the false power of death and life in their hands. When we ask God, “What is the end game?” Why are we experiencing such difficulty in our lives. We know the endgame of the devil is to kill, steal, and destroy. But God has a plan for each child, with purpose and hope. In the biblical story of Hannah, we see a woman under God’s protection wanting to have a child desperately. But the child was delayed. The scripture states God closed her womb. Is it too far out there to believe, that our God would prohibit a woman from having a child.

Her womb was closed until she vowed, “I will give my son to you Lord, dedicated for your service, for your work.” Not too long after that declaration, she conceived and bore a son. I wonder what would happen, if believing women that wanted a child vowed to give him or her to the Lord for His work. Would wombs be opened in their desperation? Could this be a catalyst, that would close every womb of women who do not want children? My heart aches for the unborn that are sacrificed to the devil through abortion.

Again, we could ask God, “What is the end game Lord?” Closing Hannah’s womb until that moment of desperation exercised a sense of travail, a depth of groaning, so deep that it touched the heart of God. She had a child and he was consecrated to God and apprenticed under Priest Eli. This child Samuel did not miss the Ark of the Covenant, or King Saul, or King David. Samuel was born just in time, well within God’s time.

But what if, God would close the womb of every woman not wanting a child? I understand the emotional hardship, if the child in the womb is a result of rape or incest. Still this is a child with a beating heart, sending his or her blood to every part of their body, wanting to live. From conception to birth, to infant, to toddler, to adolescent, to teen, to young adult, to adult, every child is precious in His sight.

I wonder how many Samuels or Ruths have been killed before seeing the light of day?

We can learn from a baby in the womb. They overcome incredible odds to reach that ninth month. Shouldn’t they trust us to be there for them at birth?

NOTE: This entry is different than many past blogs. Offense is not my purpose, only the truth to be revealed that is hidden behind the devil’s deception.
