Jesus is the Cup that never runs dry
Isaiah 57:19–21 “I create the fruit of the lips; Peace, peace to him that is far off, and to him that is near, saith the Lord; and I will heal him. But the wicked are like the troubled sea, when it cannot rest, whose waters cast up mire and dirt. There is no peace, saith my God, to the wicked.”
Isaiah 57:4,5 “Against whom do ye sport yourselves? against whom make ye a wide mouth, and draw out the tongue? are ye not children of transgression, a seed of falsehood. Enflaming yourselves with idols under every green tree, slaying the children in the valleys under the clifts of the rocks?”
Beloved,
Mourning may last for a night, but joy comes in the morning. The night in front of us is long, and is driven by monstrous ocean waves, throwing their wrath upon the shores. But the Lord has declared, “The seas will never cover the land again.” Those waters will be prevented from drowning mankind.
Like in the days of Moses, Pharaohs issue decrees to kill all of the children under two-years old. Like in the days of Jesus, even Kings call for our children’s death, whether in or out of the womb. Our days are not unlike those, when storms rage and tiny boats are tossed upon the seas. Our hearts cry out, “Mercy, Lord, for our little ones. Take this atmosphere away and release liberty for the captives and freedom for the prisoners.”
We pray for our children and declare Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected future.” These are words of life to our dying sons and daughters. Break through is desperately needed in the halls of justice, in those places where laws are written, and in the leader’s hearts and minds. Like a veil, many operate in this world as blind servants of evil wickedness, not really knowing who their leader is. Only the devil comes to kill, steal, and destroy. Only his darkness hides those things done in secret. But we serve the light that casts shadows out of the way.
Smoke and mirrors blind even the eyes of the saints at times. But like a veneer, can be pushed through easily with prayer and worship. Prayer transform entire regions and makes them like the Kingdom of God, where only righteousness reigns. Step into intercession, bring the devil down to his true level, that of a mediocre villain that has no power. The strong man must be bound and his voice must be silenced in our land. Too long, his voice has used lies to deceive the people and they are suffering, crying out for a life that they do not understand. Too much blood has been poured out on the ground from the children ripped from mother’s wombs. Christ went to the Cross, and abortion was nailed there with him. When he breathed His last, he declared, “It is finished.”
It is a truth that can be established on every street corner of our nation. Every home can be a church, where worship is released, wether in secret or public. Become the intercessors that you were destined to be.
“But the chief truth He reiterated was ever this: to pray in faith. And He defined that faith, not only as a trust in God’s goodness or power, but as the definite assurance that we have received the very thing we ask. And then, in view of the delay in the answer, He insisted on perseverance and urgency. We must be followers of those “who through faith and patience inherit the promises” — the faith that accepts the promise, and knows it has what it has asked — the patience that obtains the promise and inherits the blessing.” Andrew Murray — Intercessor
There are thousands of grandmothers and mothers on their knees at this very moment and in past years, praying for our children. Some pray for children they will never see, but yet they trust God heard their prayers and will answer them. We do not serve a God that waits, but a God that delays until the incense bowl is full, and man(woman) returns to his(her) first love. Prayer is not just a passing word at meal time, but a fulfilled life in constant concert with the King of Kings. It is never “If” he answers our prayer, but always “when” entire nations are saved out of their darkness. Start with a few minutes praising God this day, then ask God to stretch you and continue to add more time in your prayers until prayers are said with every action in your work place and in every event of daily life.
Abortion is murder, just as Herod killed every child, hoping to kill the King of Kings. He failed. The King lived and died on a Cross. Was buried in a tomb, but walked out alive in three days time. His answer to us, “I went to hell and took back every key from the evil one. I gave you these keys. Now unlock the doors of every prison and cell. Tell them that I love them and will not let harm come to them.”
Imagine if you prayed every day. Like Joseph, angelic beings will come to you in dreams and warn you of impending harm to the children. What if, your neighbor was contemplating an abortion, and the angel said, “Go and love that person the way I love you.” Yes that is intercession, interceding for life everlasting.
Jesus is the Cup that won’t run dry.
