Just One Word
1 Samuel 18:1 “And it came to pass, when he had made an end of speaking unto Saul, that the soul of Jonathan was knit with the soul of David, and Jonathan loved him as his own soul.”
Beloved,
Prophesy this day of the one who sent you. You are someone’s answer to prayer, either as an intercessor or you carry the answer that someone is desperately waiting to hear. We are the body of Christ, and Holy Spirit lives inside our hearts, and he communicates with us daily, all day. It is our heart that He pour out HIs spirit in us and through us. That the breath that we inhale is God the Father’s exhale. It is a great mystery to live out here on this world, bringing the Kingdom of Heaven to the earth. We are the water in which a stone was cast, and our ripples are felt to the ends of the earth. It is an encounter of the Living God that we live for, and not to just live out our days doing ordinary things, but to fully live the Kingdom of God out in our lives.
Our words and action brings direct contact with the Holy Spirit, like a water fount, pouring out his love upon a people that are thirsty, lost and dying. In the midst of this relationship with God, it is the simple praise that brings Him glory. It is His promise to cover the depths of the earth with His glory, drawing many to the light that consumes each and every one of us. It is like when Jonathan connected with David as he spoke to Saul, and instantly became one in the spirit, our voice carries such destiny for all of those that would hear us. Today’s prayer is for ears to be opened, and eyes that can see the things of God. We are lifted up in these moments and are transformed. Daily Holy Spirit seeks to transfigure your countenance to that of the holy. It is a fire that is deep within our being, moving us forward even when we are waiting for answers.
It is an action of Heaven within our frame, stretching us out to the left and the right, ensuring that even deep pockets of resistance is conquered, providing a heart that is not only teachable, but able to do great exploits. We rest in Him even when the world is in turmoil. It becomes a joy to be in Him, to trust in Him, to lean on Him, and not our own understanding. It is like finding a treasure, and its revelation becomes everything. It is the coming to the Cross and resting at the feet of the crucified King, seeing the stripes and wounds upon his body and head, finally understanding that it is not our battle, but His alone. If it is anger that rises up within us, it is not of Christ. For He chose the cross, and He carried it, like our burdens that were nailed along with him to the splintered wood, and as the blood poured down His body, we were covered and made new.
Our trust becomes everything, for without it, we are at the whim of the enemy that would seek to destroy us. But He has given us weapons to be offensive in his attack, bringing the devil down to where the Lord put him, on the ground. Today as you prepare for the day, and you know that the Kingdom is calling, clothe yourself in the Armor of God. Place that helmet of salvation upon your head, and take every thought captive. Don’t let the battle of your thoughts wear you out before the battle against evil. You have the power to cancel every lie of the enemy. Think on those things that are wonderful, beautiful, and noble. Let the wisdom that has been anointed on your head fill your heart, and then cover your chest with the breastplate of righteousness. In that moment, your heart, lungs, spirit and soul become protected, ensuring the voice of the Holy Spirit is heard clearly. And gird yourself with the belt of truth, that trust of God would be an anchor and every promise becomes real to you.
As you move and have your being, your feet require covering, that each step be orchestrated by God, as you carry the Gospel of Peace to the ends of the earth. Pick up the shield of faith, that is a gift from God and it extinguishes the fiery darts of the enemy, letting not one pierce your heart or those that have been given to you to protect. You are a fierce warrior when all is donned. Then pick up the sword of the spirit, that Word of God that destroys the works of the enemy. It is sharper than any double edged sword, and cuts to the truth every time, not letting one lie rest on you. Our understanding must become supernatural, a heaven perspective and not that of our earth, where flesh seeks to control our actions. We are more than conquerers when God the Father fights our battles for us.
And all of this, is from the moment you awoke and even before your feet touched the ground beside you bed. You heard his voice, and instantly were connected in the spirit. It is a realization, that man does not live on bread alone, but on the every very word that comes from the mouth of God. Just one word from God, shatters thousands of lies.
