Leave No One Behind

Psalm 52:8,9 “ But I am like a green olive tree in the house of God: I trust in the mercy of God for ever and ever. I will praise thee for ever, because thou hast done it: and I will wait on thy name; for it is good before thy saints.”

Isaiah 1:17,18 “Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless, plead for the widow. Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.”

What is the sole quest of your heart? Knowing God, intimately is the highest purpose, the Holy understanding of who He is. Break from tradition, from the structure that keeps you within its law. This condition has been fulfilled by your Lord Jesus on the Cross. “Though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow.” The heart hears a melody, that settles deep within your identity, and shapes your character. The potter makes you with the work of His hands, and you become a reflection of God.

In this, the work of your hands craft many other things and each must have significance that reflects the image and love of God. You are a lamb, led to slaughter, a sacrifice unto the Lord, where you lay your life down much like He did on that street del Rosa. He did not think too much of himself, that He would turn away from the death He was to experience and endure. Closely, He strengthened you in beauty, so that His Father would know you and recognize that you too are His son, His daughter.

Be unified now with the Holy Spirit, who calls you forward to deny yourself (that flesh) and signals a deep yearning within your soul that speaks of honor and majesty, strength and beauty are there before the King. His Hope is in you, much like your Hope is in you. He recognizes you, and sees you always. His Son Jesus is always before you, speaking of your life, and what your heart cries out in the middle of the night. There is a creation that sings of His love for you. These songs are always constant, sung by legions of angels and saints that cast their crowns at the feet of the Lord, every moment of every day.

Now to the One who is worthy, give all that you are. Bring the sacrifice of Love and Obedience, that comes from knowing the Lord as the Lover of your soul. He calls you His beloved, and embraces you with His Mighty arms, completing the work started in you many years ago. The prize is not that far off and can be seen, for He has given you sight. The goal is the heart of God, the finish line becomes His embrace. And like hope, it is accomplished even before you see it. For our faith is like this, seeing what is invisible to those that are perishing, but ultimately clear to all who call on the Name of Jesus.
