Revelation 19:12 “His eyes are like blazing fire, and on his head are many crowns. He has a name written on him that no one knows but he himself.”

Beloved,

Come, to the feet of Jesus. Lay your crown there on the ground, as you adore Him.

Lay prostrate before Him crying, “Holy, Holy, Holy.”

This is God, the one that gave everything to purchase you, to redeem you from the enemy’s hand.

His only reason, “My Father loves you so much that He asked me to die in your place.”

It’s difficult to rationalize this event, that day on the hill where they nailed Jesus to a Cross. He knew the pain and horror of it all, before walking Via Del Rosa. Even in that moment when He stood with Elijah and Moses on another hill discussing the coming events. In that moment, Jesus was glorified, prepared as a sin offering to be a love sacrifice, signifying that the moment has come to change everything, fulfilling every law ever written by God. Our Father realized even before the laws were written, mankind in his or her own flesh could not ever keep. And the plan was established even before a baby was born of a virgin in a stable. God’s timing is everything. Plans to us that seem to take years and years to accomplish are but a breath to God. We are like a match, once struck consumes the stick and then we are gone. But within that match stick lies a spirit and soul created for eternal purpose, that will outlive mortality and be redeemed from the ashes, from the remnants of the heap.

Even after having seen the Lord, disciples were at a loss of what to do next. But He gave them orders, to pray in that upper room until the power from on high comes. There were moments where Peter struggled, and he just went fishing. Jesus met him along the shoreline after having caught nothing and told him to throw the net on the other side. The fish caught nearly broke the net, and Peter recognized the Lord. It is critical to accept the Cross given us, but also the power to carry it. Our cross was not meant to be carried by our fleshly strength, but by the Spirit’s strength now living inside of us, acknowledging the empty grave and resurrected King.

He said, “My yoke is easy and burden is light.”
