our God is a consuming Fire

“Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven. And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain. Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear: For our God is a consuming fire.” Hebrews 12:26–29

Beloved,

Hear His voice in the wind, the King speaks to you throughout your day. Lend an ear to His message, allow His words to saturate your being. Look to the east and see where your help comes from. He is above all things. Still He chooses to walk along side you. All of creation is being shaken in these days, our only hope is to trust and believe for what is to remain. His grace is sufficient to overcome any obstacle that prevents us from drawing near. His angels keep watch over us, and adjust our steps where necessary, keeping us on track as long as our heart is willing to chase after the one who gave everything for you.

The consuming Fire, burns eternal for us, in His love and His Presence. Glory surrounds Him wherever He is. You will find the altar in His presence, and there you will die to self and discover who you really are. It is written on a stone, this name that He calls you by, and only He knows this name. Yet when we are called by it, we recognize it, for our DNA was created through it and the body, mind, heart, soul and spirit responds to His voice.

We respond, “Lord, take the stone, touch our lips. Cleanse us.”

Then, we are His. Kept close to His side, where the Shepherd leads us through every trial and event in our lives, creating in us, the attributes needed as Bride to a King. He adores us so. There is no greater love than His, a life given for all mankind, not just some, but the whole. Mankind stands in awe, as Truth makes it way through the River that flows from His Throne. Still, some will not believe and will reject His love, trusting in the self and not the God who created them.

All that is needed though is your prayer, uttered by the children of God for the one that is lost. Jesus hears every prayer and petition, and He answers loudly if we choose to hear it. Do not give up on the lost. Trust in Christ who goes after the one and will not relent. Your prayers are powerful and will shake the world and the heavens, because of Christ inside of you.
