Scale a Wall

Proverbs 18:10,11 “The name of the Lord is a fortified tower; the righteous run to it and are safe. The wealth of the rich is their fortified city; they imagine it a wall too high to scale.”

Psalm 18:28,29 “You, Lord, keep my lamp burning; my God turns my darkness into light. With your help I can advance against a troop; with my God I can scale a wall.”

Beloved,

He will give you rest, all you who are weary.

Rest comes in spite of your enemies desires to destroy you. For angels surround you, even at night they surround your bed and cover you with their wings. Your next breath comes to you, because God has created the very atmosphere around you. He sings over you and is pleased with you. Trust in this fact, God watches over you.

Turmoil may come, and restless nights might try to intervene. But your steadiness in the Word of God, reading and memorizing the passages that God puts before you is a great resource, a weapon made sharp in your hand. Says the Lord, “Come to me . . . “

The knowledge that has been revealed to you, shows the Lord as a Strong Tower. In this place, your enemy — who can find? Even from the tower’s highest parapet as you scan the horizon, not one enemy can be found. For such is the Kingdom of Heaven, a safe place where pain is not allowed and tears have been wiped away.

The lamp inside of you glows with intensity, brighter than ten-thousand suns. Its illumination blinds those that would seek you harm, and they end up wandering lost. Your compassion even falls upon the enemy, to help them find the way to God. You are an intercessor, that raises up the banner for all to see and all who look upon it are saved. The Cross is your banner.

You tell the weariness in your bones to leave and it does. Then Holy Strength is released into your body and your heart. There are no obstacles that can stop you, you are more than able to go where God tells you to go. He is delighted with your obedience and goes ahead of you.

Surely, with God you can scale a wall.
