Shake the ground . . .
Psalm 16:8 “I have set the Lord always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.”
Beloved,
You, “shall not be moved.” In that moment, God calls your name and says, “Do not fear.” In response, you believe His presence is real, and His promise is secure within your heart. Years of life have brought you to this place, this moment when trust is utmost and faith a critical necessity. Where leaning on our own understanding is completely demolished, and His wisdom and knowledge becomes a power that rises like an ocean wave and covers you completely. In the midst of such power, swim with that wave, becoming one with Him. It is an exercise in authority, a willingness to believe that He is in control and will never let you go. His presence becomes the essence of your anointing, knowing that He is at your right hand.
Your roots have gone deep seeking the purest water that provides eternal life and feeds your soul, quenching its thirst and satisfying your hunger. You have an appetite for the Holy and the Righteous things of God. It is a direction, a path which has been paved with peace, allowing you to rest in Him even while engaging the darkness and destroying its works. You build on such a foundation, of the truth in the Amen, which lays down an agreement that cannot be dissolved. Our prayers are anointed conversation between you and the Lord, striking up a plan that brings sin to its knees and elevating the Holy within your heart. You have been given hind feet, so that you may climb the ramparts and see the Kingdom of God clearly.
You come to Jesus in humble love, laying down your life for others, following His example to the cross. Sharing the suffering of others, but not the burden, for that is the Lord’s. He places on your neck a yoke that is light, and a burden the is easy. Your empathy for other’s plight(s) brings about compassion which is necessary to see the miracles and wonders, so that when you lay a hand on a brother or sister, you will see healing released. For it is not your power, but the strength of the Lord endowed within your frame, a wonderful tent where the doors have been opened and its covering stretched out to the left and the right. Tent pegs have been moved out further and secured in the rock, which is the Lord, making room for the harvest, those that had been dying will be resurrected and covered in His love.
Christ’s courage given to you is not just so that you may walk this earth with no fear of the enemy, but provides the platform in which to save the lost and to heal the sick and to set free those in bondage and give sight to the blind. We love when the Lord pours out His spirit in abundance, but there will be times, where it is just you and one other. In that divine moment, it will be as if Christ himself approaches the one through you, drawing and wooing that one into the Kingdom of God. The place there will be shaken, and His love will be poured out on that one as if he or she was the only one on planet earth. We serve a romantic God, who loves with a death overcoming impact, resurrecting the one from the darkness, and setting their feet on the solid rock.
