Sling the stone
1 John 4:11,12 “Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another. No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.”
Exodus 33:9 “And it came to pass, as Moses entered into the tabernacle, the cloudy pillar descended, and stood at the door of the tabernacle, and the Lord talked with Moses.”
Beloved,
What a privilege it is, to stand in awe as Holiness passes by and strengthens your heart to be resolute in your commission. You are lifted up above the turmoil around you. Your feet have been placed on a higher ground and your vision is keen. Look to the mountain where your help comes from, knowing that the Cross fixed there is empty, but still bears the stains of a bleeding Christ, that gave everything for this moment in your life. Lift your hands in the sanctuary and cry holy, for today the Lord knocks and you have opened the door. Celebrate in His goodness, where His love covers over a multitude of sin, breaking the hold of the strongman. We are God’s, and He is ours. Trust more today than you did yesterday. Today is a new day, and your purpose is written on the walls of your heart. With each beat, blood is sent to every part of your body equipping you for what is needed in this very moment.
Worship has become a part of your daily life, and you are not satisfied to be average, but to constantly be in prayer for those around you, whether family, friends, or the stranger you encounter on the street. Feel free to lay hands on the sick and see them healed. You are not alone in this call. Regardless of circumstance, you stand in the valley waiting for Goliath to appear. In your hand are a few small stones gathered on your way here. The giant brings a huge spear and a sword to the battle. You have brought the Word of the Living God, which is much sharper than any weapon forged on earth. Wrapped around your wrist is a simple sling made of leather and sinew. In past days and weeks, you have used this same device to ward off predators from attacking the sheep put in your care. At times the sling does not seem enough to bring down a giant. But God, your redeemer goes before you and establishes the field of battle.
Go with faith, knowing that your God is always victorious and never loses. He is the redeemer, the One who brings His children back into the folds of his garment, hidden in the tallit of His wings. We are cast into purpose, to bring down the giants of this land. Our hand will break the strong man’s hold on God’s children, using the Blood of His Son Jesus and the resurrection power of an empty tomb. Be glad in the presence of battle. You have not arrived on this field alone, but angels and chariots of fire fill the hills around you. You are a holy priest in the order of Christ. You were bought at a great price, because of the value placed on your shoulders. You are more precious than silver, more valuable than gold, and more beautiful than diamonds. Beloved, you are a pearl of great worth. He gave everything to possess you and you have opened the door when He knocked.
There is glory arriving daily, fueling the fire within you. Your heart is an inferno ablaze with thanksgiving and praise for the Master’s son Jesus. Daylight is upon us, and we must meet with Him. The time spend in the holy place makes time our servant, and within minutes redemption comes through His blood and sin is nailed to a wooden tree. Realize that the murder of unborn children will stop when you humble yourself, and pray on bended knee, giving the King all worship. Today surround His throne, and praise with the multitude gathered there, bringing glory to the King. The name of Jesus is most powerful, built as a Strong Tower, becoming the Fortress necessary to end abortion. Establish the territory, where the Kingdom of God is brought down to earth, and all is transformed. Only life comes from the River flowing from His throne.
