Such is the Life
1 Thessalonians 5:16–23 “Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing.
In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. Quench not the Spirit. Despise not prophesyings. Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. Abstain from all appearance of evil. And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.”
Beloved,
The seed within you that was planted within you at conception desires the things of God. For its growth, you have brought your spirit in close communion with Christ. You quench the spirit’s thirst on the Blood of Christ, that new wine that quenches all things. You have built your foundation on this Rock, and when the rains come and the winds blow, still you will not waver.
The knowledge of the Light that is in you, and grows ever stronger brings a confidence in you — for the Lord God reigns from within you and directs your path. Words come to you even in the night, and you prove them against the Word of God — then accepting them as the Voice of Christ. You abound in Love and the Knowledge of who Christ is — and your body has become the temple that beckons others to join in, and to dance with the Lord with all of Heaven singing and bringing music to the Father.
Pray with earnestness; go after the desires of your heart — for He is a Good Good Father, that loves to give good things to His sons and daughters. We are taught by the Scriptures to love one another; then let His Love flow powerfully — to everyone you encounter. Let Christ have His Way in you; trust His Voice, for it has become trusted — and you love to please God.
Burn with His Love within you. Let it intertwine with the very fibers of your being. Become one with the Father, and let the things that touch the Father’s Heart touch yours as well. Be the child you were created to be, to Honor the Father with all that you are — and to trust Him with all that you have. For He has given you everything.
His Storehouse is at your disposal. Heal the sick. Cast out demons. Deliver those in bondage. Raise the dead to life. It is your passion to please the Father, and will not relent in the face of adversity or obstacle — say to this mountain, “Be removed and thrown into the sea . . . “ such is the life of a son or daughter of God.
