the old is gone

“But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.” 1 Peter 2:9

Beloved,

Make a demand on the dry bones to become flesh and blood once more. All obstacles have been pushed aside and the pathway is open. There are no debris in your way.

Walk on!

His blood and breath course through your body, bringing life to every corner of the temple which is your body. Let those living waters gush from the lower part of your being. Cover everyone you come in contact with. Show God to the world in the living testimony which is your life. You have died with Christ and are now resurrected with Him into new life. Surely, you have been seated in a place of authority with Jesus. And eternity is established like a river.

We are His and He is ours. The darkness has flown, never to be seen again. His promise is to never leave or forsake His sons and daughters. A priesthood, designed to enter into the Holy with God’s permission, soaked in His son’s blood poured out at the Cross. We cross the threshold, understanding that our old lives are left at the door, and we enter into a new creation where everything is made new.

Be captured by His gaze as Jesus directs His love towards you, restoring the things the enemy has stolen, and appreciate the love bursting in your heart. For you have become the sacrifice, where sin was slain and life was born. Glory surrounds His throne, and the legions of angels sing out with empowered song, that purifies the ground on which you walk and the words that come from the overflow of your heart.

Hearts are established as the doorway to the new, and the old is gone.
