under whose Wings

Ruth 2:10–12 “Then she fell on her face, and bowed herself to the ground, and said unto him, Why have I found grace in thine eyes, that thou shouldest take knowledge of me, seeing I am a stranger? And Boaz answered and said unto her, It hath fully been shewed me, all that thou hast done unto thy mother in law since the death of thine husband: and how thou hast left thy father and thy mother, and the land of thy nativity, and art come unto a people which thou knewest not heretofore. The Lord recompense thy work, and a full reward be given thee of the Lord God of Israel, under whose wings thou art come to trust.”

Beloved,

Under whose wings thou art come to trust — you are a foreigner in a strange land, and you have left everything because of the love that is inside your heart. You have been taught the way of holiness, to seek after God that you have been taught about. It started with a testimony of who God is, and then the scripture came, revealing who He is and what He has done in the lives of millions. You became a student of the Word, and study more today than you did yesterday. You ask Holy Spirit to teach you, to lead you, and to speak to you. It is in these moments in which the Kingdom of God is opened to you, and you pull its contents down to earth. You are an agent of change, that transforms entire regions.

You have been involved with many harvests, being instrumental in the salvation of thousands. It is through this desire of yours to be a forerunner, to bring God into distant lands that you are recognized. The Lord, like Boaz did of Ruth, sees the work of your hands and has heard of your dedication to this people that you have not known before. You educate yourself on their customs and the culture that surrounds you, so that you may bring God to ears that will hear you. You have touched the hearts of many, that have given their lives to Christ at the word of your testimony. God adores you beloved, and like Boaz, He will ensure that there will be a wedding, knowing that there are others in line, but that will be nothing at all to Him. He will lift you up and ensure that you are fed and will not go hungry.

It is a sure thing, that God is in your camp. The people around you will see His blessing upon the work of your hands, whatever that might be or look like. You are a jewel, that adorns His crown and He looks at you and is captured by your beauty. It is that reflection of His son that draws Him completely, your openness to seek more of His love and actually invoke a hunger in your soul for His touch. Angels will surround your work, and your family will be blessed. Crooked roads will be made straight, rough roads will be smoothed, and He will overshadow you, protecting you in every event. It is the Gospel that hangs on you like a necklace, that truth that is in your heart that cannot be denied.

Out of you will come many daughters that will pick up the torch as well. They will recognize the fire that you carry and will want to be a participant in the Kingdom of God, becoming brides adorned in white and made ready for the King that is coming. Each realizing that it is not by might, but by the very spirit of the Lord, that they will bring the Kingdom of God into austere places. Darkness will flee at your children’s approach, as the light inside of them increases, illuminate entire nations with His presence. Show them God’s grace, and HIs mercy, teaching them of the Cross and His resurrection. Illustrate the ability to pick up your cross, showing them the posture of humility and gentleness. You are glorious in His sight.
