Very Good
Psalm 77:11–15 “ I will remember the works of the Lord: surely I will remember thy wonders of old. I will meditate also of all thy work, and talk of thy doings. Thy way, O God, is in the sanctuary: who is so great a god as our God? Thou art the God that doest wonders: thou hast declared thy strength among the people. Thou hast with thine arm redeemed thy people, the sons of Jacob and Joseph.” Selah!
Isaiah 35 “The wilderness and the solitary place shall be glad for them; and the desert shall rejoice, and blossom as the rose. It shall blossom abundantly, and rejoice even with joy and singing: the glory of Lebanon shall be given unto it, the excellency of Carmel and Sharon, they shall see the glory of the Lord, and the excellency of our God. Strength- en ye the weak hands, and confirm the feeble knees. Say to them that are of a fearful heart, Be strong, fear not: behold, your God will come with vengeance, even God with a recompence; he will come and save you. Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped. Then shall the lame man leap as an hart, and the tongue of the dumb sing: for in the wilderness shall waters break out, and streams in the desert. And the parched ground shall become a pool, and the thirsty land springs of water: in the habitation of dragons, where each lay, shall be grass with reeds and rushes. And an highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but it shall be for those: the wayfaring men, though fools, shall not err therein.
No lion shall be there, nor any ravenous beast shall go up thereon, it shall not be found there; but the redeemed shall walk there: And the ransomed of the Lord shall return, and come to Zion with songs and everlasting joy upon their heads: they shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.”
Beloved,
Worthy is the Lamb.
Today, take off your shoes. You are on Holy ground. That which God has sanctified is Holy. There are angels arriving daily bringing praise to the Lord of Lords, with Worship on their tongues. Fire has been released into the atmosphere transforming the very air that you breathe. Today, wash yourself in the Word of God, by His Blood be clean and let the soles of your feet touch the ground in this place. Your mind and your heart will be cleansed in these moments.
Come freely into this place, upon the road that He created marked with signs all along the way. Press forward and not back, knowing that ahead are glorious things set aside for you and your family. It is a place of healing, of flowing water that is refreshing and of rest for the weary. Many think that they will find this when they die, but it was created for the living while still on earth. It is in His words taught to the disciples, “Thy Kingdom Come . . .” not tomorrow, but today, this moment as soon as you utter the words.
God has made a way where there was no way. In the void, God breathed on the water and land was formed. Through His Word, His exhale all things were and are created. Not one leaf or one animal or one human was created without His breath, and all creation adores the Lord and praise Him for these good things. On that seventh day, He rested and surveyed all that had been done through His breath and saw that it was very good. The Hebrew word for good, means more than just good; after man was created, it meant “very good, complimentary, amazing, beautiful, beyond compare, a finished work.”
This goodness exposes the value that God has placed on all creation, and to man, that pearl of great worth was the reason He gave His Son Jesus, that none should die, but live everlasting with Him in the Kingdom. And the land was given into the hand of man, and it became His inheritance. This land belongs to you and all that is in it. This is a blessing, to know the goodness of God and His Love for you.
