Vineyard Rest
Psalm 38:21,22 “Forsake me not, O Lord: O my God, be not far from me. Make haste to help me, O Lord my salvation.”
Ecclesiastes 4:13 “ Better is a poor and a wise child than an old and foolish king, who will no more be admonished.”
Beloved,
Go into the vineyard this day, and lie down within its shade. Let its branches cover you and comfort you from the heat that is outside. Drink of the fruit that is above you, let its nectar quench the thirst, and your dry and parched throat will be satisfied. This is redemption, a change from the former days, where you find healing of your soul, spirit, and strength.
Let your thoughts become like Christ’s. Focus your attention upon the words of the Father, and trust Him for all that you need. He is your full provision, and His joy is your delight. He will set you upright, bringing hope to the surface once more and showing you the future that will bring happiness to your bones. Let Glory shine bright within your breast, and then sing a song of gladness, of thankfulness.
Your heart will yearn to sing a song of joy to the Lord. Within the branches of the vineyard, even the bird’s song will not compare to your voice that brings a smile to the Master’s heart. He is glad when you lie down within His vineyard, when you drink of its fruit when it is ripe, that you find comfort and peace within His branches. Each row of the vineyard has been touched by His hands, by His concentration of Love and Righteousness.
Every particle of the soil that nurtures each plant, was put in place by His hands. You did not come into this place by accident, it is by purpose that you came here. It is the solitude, the refuge that you have been seeking. When you come here into this place, the Master lies down with you and your head is cradled with His arm, your face resting upon His chest, and He is pleased. Love’s rapture is best when the heart is willing and the spirit is ready.
Find refuge here my love, by beloved.
