We are all on that Prodigal Road

“Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice.” John 18:37

Beloved,

Go and see, the Love of the Christ is overwhelming — bringing forth Life. It is all based on a Truth, that came into the world — born of a virgin, in a humble stable — wrapped in swaddling cloth. We are in awe of His Goodness, but convicted of heart at the same time. For He is so Good. But our flesh holds onto sin like a babe that suckles for more milk.

But there is a Truth, that dawns on us like the rising sun — bringing a cleansing that wipes the slate clean, allowing us to be good as He is Good. For no one can be good of their own doing, it is by His Grace that we are established — and Christ is the Chief Cornerstone. He is our foundation.

Without the calling — the invitation or the knock at the door, we drown in own darkness. But the Light does come, and He is the King of Heaven, that came into this world to save those that are perishing. There is a seed that was planted in us, that will not flourish unless it is watered, unless it falls to the ground and dies. Love comes on us like a blanket when our bodies are chilled, we long for the warmth that covers us — and makes us whole.

Trust is absolute in the Kingdom of God. It is either we believe or we do not — there is no in between places. Today, find your foothold — climb higher than you every have before. Secure your position, as you move closer to the Truth. Let not any obstacle stand in your way, preventing you from reaching the Master — for He calls out to you in the night by name.

We are children of the Truth Beloved. Seek and find. Hunger for more, to be transformed into that which is of the Kingdom.

We are all, on that prodigal road — and up ahead our Father runs toward us carrying a robe and a ring.
