We are undone, Beloved

Psalm 40:6–8 “Sacrifice and offering thou didst not desire; mine ears hast thou opened: burnt offering and sin offering hast thou not required. Then said I, “Lo, I come: in the volume of the book it is written of me, I delight to do thy will, O my God: yea, thy law is within my heart.””

Ecclesiastes 7:11,12 “Wisdom is good with an inheritance: and by it there is profit to them that see the sun. For wisdom is a defence, and money is a defence: but the excellency of knowledge is, that wisdom giveth life to them that have it.”

Beloved,

Carefully, you approach the Throne of God. Knowing that the Father sees you, you open your arms to receive all that He has for you. He draws you into His Arms, and the Light goes beyond expectation and imagination — illuminating the depth of your soul and spirit. He shares understanding with you, and it is embedded within you, stored for the time when it is needed.

Your hunger for more of this wisdom increases, directing your thoughts and ponderings to to the Cross where His Son Jesus died. You have been translated to this place on Calvary, this heap of a city’s garbage, that has become the execution place of your Lord and you are broken at the sight. Great is the Lamb that laid down His life for all mankind. A song rises within you, one you did not recognize. It is filled with sounds, not heard until this moment.

You find yourself at the tomb, observing Mary as she seeks her master. Your eyes see that the tomb has been emptied of its contents, no dead here. The stone cast off, yards away that no man could every have completed. Mary is on her knees now, asking a man, “Where have they taken my master?” A great light ignites the environment and angels are on the outskirts of the field, this place of graves. They are determined to protect this Holy soil on which they stand — this place of resurrection, sanctified by their King who stands before them — talking to a small peasant girl.

As the Master lifts Mary to her feet, she is caught up in His Glory and shines as bright, illuminating the faces of the guardian angels surrounding them. It is this moment, that wisdom passes from the Lord to Mary, and she is filled with understanding. The love fostered in her heart for this Lord, this Master before her — now explodes in wonderment and acknowledgement of who He really is. She is undone.

We are undone beloved, in the presence of the King. Our hearts will never be the same, never to seek after earthly delights again, but the heaven’s treasure. Know the King, the Father of all things, and His Holy Spirit that now resides within you. He is your Counselor, your Mentor in these days until your time on earth is done and you take His Hand to enter into that place called home.

Call the Kingdom of God down to earth.
