Wisdom
Proverbs 1:20–23 “Wisdom crieth without; she uttereth her voice in the streets: She crieth in the chief place of concourse, in the openings of the gates: in the city she uttereth her words, saying, How long, ye simple ones, will ye love simplicity? and the scorners delight in their scorning, and fools hate knowledge? Turn you at my reproof: behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you, I will make known my words unto you.”
Beloved,
You enter the holy place and He makes a way for you. You have heard the holy call to you, and you know that your reaction must be a suddenly, an immediate turning to the voice of the one calling. We trust together in those things of God, that He at once both the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. We trust the three, and the one, for He is. It is a heavenly position, to go to Him in these days when skies are dark and trouble surrounds you. His mystery is the relationship of kings, to search out the face of God in the midst of strife, and also when the harvest is plentiful. It is His presence that is the prize, the avenue of God, that path that He put us on, days, if not years ago. We have stumbled at times, and gone our own way, but the Truth knows us and her name is Wisdom. She calls to us through the heart of the Father, to know that when He sent His only son Jesus, it was a once in eternity shift that could not be undone.
And we dance with her, this partner that is Wisdom, that speaks to us in the depth of our despair, and in the heights of our successes. It is a relationship that must be groomed, to bring Holy Spirit into every cavity of our body, surely each micro fibre of our being belongs to Him. He supplants every cell with His evidence, making our frame His home, walking with us in every step and in every word that proceeds out of the mouth. His security is in us, where wisdom fought for the right to own us through the Son of God Jesus, establishing the Kingdom of God on earth. Like monks of old, we sequester ourselves in moments of Holy, seeking the face of the Father, knowing that He is willing to be found. He is on His throne, and our place is at His feet, if not also in His lap.
This Father that sits on His throne, surrounded by legions of angels that speaks His name in honor and the elders that continually call out, “Holy, Holy, Holy is the Lord God Almighty!” brings us to the revelation of who Christ is, and what He has accomplished through His life on earth, and the Cross. It is a mystical work that can never be repeated and never be undone. Eternity holds the Truth in its hands, and Wisdom goes about the streets of this world shouting of His deeds, and of the Resurrection that broke the gates of hell. We are in debt to Wisdom, for through her breath comes understanding, and knowledge, and truth, and love. We call this evidence Righteousness and it is part of the Kingdom of God. For when Wisdom gives birth within our hearts, the trees carry leaves that heal the nations and fruit that will never run out.
Surely Solomon, son of King David heard from the Lord in His dreams, and received the greatest gift known to man. It was the Wisdom of God that He asked for, that part of the Omega that gives life through utterance, through judgement seeking only justice, and the heart of the One who was to come, Jesus. These are like the prayers that we speak and declare, that even though years come and go, those words still carry weight in the Kingdom, and answers will come. Even if it is after your breath has ceased on this earth, the fruit is unveiled within the current of the river that flows and reaches the destination. Even if it is on a Cross, and an Empty Tomb. It is the words spoken through Solomon as a result of his prayer to have God’s wisdom, “behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you, I will make known my words unto you.” These bones will sing.
