You Got This
Psalm 90:12 “So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.”
Genesis 1:1–3 “In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters. And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.”
Beloved,
Today is a new day, filled with no regrets and only hope for what the future holds. We have the Holy Spirit in us, who cannot be denied if we call Christ our Lord. It’s a part of the Godhead package, this love that flows to us even now from the Cross and the Empty Tomb. We are like the two walking on the road to Emmaus, and the Lord shows up asking, “Why are you sad?”
They were surprised that this man had not heard of the events in Jerusalem. Are we so engaged with the news of the day, that we miss the Lord walking beside us? There are steps ahead that we must walk and not every place will hold good things, and we must learn to maneuver these diverse events, calling forth the Truth of who we are. It is all about identity and the hope that resides in us. Glory to God in the heavens for what He has done and what He will still do in our lives. A wise man once said, it is a good day, if you are above ground and breathing.
Trust in the Lord your God in all things, and develop an ongoing conversation with Him. It is not good to just wait for hardship or a challenge to call upon His Name, but to know Him intimately even now. This is the season we are in, the old is gone and the new is upon us. We are to be like the first Adam and walk with Him and not hide our sin or shame. We are naked before Him, and He already knows everything about you. He knows when your last breath on earth will be, and even then He knows what is next. Isn’t it time, that you know what is next?
In your daily walks with Him, ask about the Heavens above and He will show you great and powerful things. He does not keep the Kingdom secret, but teaches to call the Kingdom to come within our own environment. The atmosphere that He breathes is the oxygen that we need to succeed in this life. And it is not all about the bottom line, what you have stored in the bank or under your bed, but it’s the stockpile of Love that concerns Him. You beloved, are loved and you are told to do likewise to all of those beside you and who you come in contact with.
Judgement is not part of our personal skills, but Love is. We are to measure out mercy and grace with the amount we have received and not worry about how much we can accumulate. Our testimonies tell the truth to the world. It is not just the things that God has brought us through, but the world is waiting for the testimonies of God working through you and touching the world that is dying. If the world dies on your watch, it is your fault. You have been given an extremely powerful gift, which is the Love birthed at the Cross and given Life at the Tomb. We are to preach a Christ crucified and resurrected from the Tomb that now lies empty.
It is your watch.
